Claudia P. Santoyo
Senior AssociateClaudia Santoyo is a Senior Associate practicing in the areas of insurance litigation, catastrophic personal injury and complex, multi-party litigation, as well as worker's compensation. Raised in a military family, Claudia has called New Orleans her home since 1993 to attend Loyola University's College of Music. She received her B.M. in Music Composition and French Horn Performance in May 1997 and continued at Loyola by obtaining her juris doctorate from its School of Law in December 2000. Claudia's practice has focused on civil defense of complex class action and multi-district litigation, including extensive experience with insurance and corporate defense, employment law, environmental and construction matters. She has maintained direct responsibility for large-scale federal and state litigation involving thousands of claimants. Claudia enjoys exploring avenues to increase the efficiency and capabilities of her practice through the skilled use of current and emerging technologies. She has maintained her licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Minority Involvement Section, and is the Section's immediate past Treasurer. She is a member of the Federal and New Orleans Bar Associations and maintains a strong commitment to pro-bono work and community volunteerism.
